Presenter: Prof. Peter Günter, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - ETH-Zürich, CH 8093 Zurich Switzerland, member of the editorial boards of the Optics Communication, Nonlinear Optics, Optica, Ferroelectrics, and Ferroelectrics Letters. He is a member of the American, European, and Swiss Physical Society, the IEEE, SPIE, and a fellow of the Optical Society of America.

Peter Günter教授是苏黎世瑞士联邦理工学院非线性光学实验室的学术带头人, OSA fellow。1976年获得博士学位，主要致力于非线性光学，无机、有机材料的非线性响应等方面的研究。
